Project for the rehabilitation of a listed building, located in the centre of Zaragoza, and which is located in an environmental protection area.
The intervention enhances the presence of the original listed building by eliminating annexes built later, removing the exterior installations, replacing finishes and materials not in accordance with the aesthetics of the original building, and in turn frees and recovers the primitive garden of the property.
Inside, the house is reorganized symmetrically, as in origin, by means of the staircase, which returns to its central axis. The structure of loadbearing walls is respected, as well as the composition of the façade, but improving the energy efficiency of the building in order to obtain a sustainable home.
