Preliminary project for a multi-family building between party walls, in the district of Amezola, Bilbao.
The existing building, of an industrial nature, has a degree of cataloguing in which it is necessary to maintain the facades.
The development of 36 homes, commercial premises and underground car parks is proposed, in an intervention where access to the property is recovered through a newly opened square and the industrial aesthetics are enhanced, both in the volumetry – maintaining the facades, English patio, etc. – and in the interior of the property. At the same time, a void is generated inside the plot, of great depth, which allows all the homes to have a double orientation.
